JERUSALEM, June 21, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities on Sunday issued stop-work orders for 13 residential structures in the town of Beit Surik, northwest of occupied Jerusalem.
The Jerusalem Governorate said Israeli authorities delivered construction halt notices to several residents in the town, affecting 13 residential structures as part of ongoing measures targeting Palestinian construction in the governorate.
Israeli authorities continue to target Palestinian communities in occupied Jerusalem through stop-work and demolition orders, while imposing stringent restrictions on the issuance of building permits for Palestinians. At the same time, settlement expansion and the seizure of additional Palestinian land continue unabated.
