GAZA, June 19, 2026 (WAFA) – Five citizens were injured on Friday evening in an Israeli airstrike targeting the al-Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
WAFA correspondent reported that the strike hit a tent sheltering displaced families in the al-Mawasi area.
Medical sources in the Gaza Strip said yesterday, Thursday, that the number of those killed and injured since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Strip on October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,018 and 173,273, respectively.
They added that since the ceasefire entered into effect on October 11, the number of those killed has risen to 1,007, while 3,165 others have been injured, and 784 bodies were recovered.
