RAMALLAH, June 15, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces demolished a poultry slaughterhouse in the village of Ras Karkar, west of Ramallah, on Monday morning.
Head of the Ras Karkar Village Council Marwan Nofal told WAFA that the forces stormed the village and demolished a 150-square-meter facility owned by citizen Daher Sati Abu Fakhideh.
He added that the slaughterhouse was the main source of income for ten families comprising around 50 individuals, putting their livelihoods at risk.
Nofal noted that losses resulting from the demolition, including equipment and contents, are estimated at approximately 250,000 shekels.
