RAMALLAH, June 8, 2026 (WAFA) – The Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission said that the Israeli occupation authorities seized approximately 393 dunums of Palestinian citizens’ land during May through a series of military orders, including land seizure orders for security and military purposes, declarations of state land, and expropriation orders.
In its monthly report, the commission said the occupation authorities issued four land seizure orders aimed at establishing three military sites in Jenin Governorate, specifically in the Jabriyat neighborhood of Jenin, the town of Qabatiya, and the village of Zububa. The fourth order sought to establish a buffer zone around a colonist outpost built on lands belonging to the town of Yatta in Hebron Governorate.
The commission added that the occupation authorities also issued an order declaring 400 dunums of land in the town of Kafr ad-Dik, west of Salfit, as “state land” for the benefit of the colonist site of Leshem.
In addition, two expropriation orders were issued covering 387 dunums of land from the city of Al-Bireh and the village of Beitin in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate for the construction of a colonist road leading to the Givat Assaf outpost. The orders also included lands belonging to the village of Nabi Samwil in Jerusalem Governorate.
The commission further noted that the so-called “Blue Line” team of the Israeli Civil Administration added approximately three dunums of land from the town of Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya, to areas previously confiscated in 1989, bringing the total confiscated area in that location to 21 dunums.
It stressed that these measures form part of a systematic policy aimed at expanding colonization and consolidating control over additional Palestinian land across the occupied West Bank.
