GAZA, August 29, 2026 (WAFA) — A Palestinian was killed and two others were injured on Saturday after an Israeli drone struck an electric motorcycle in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City.

WAFA correspondent reported that the victim and the two injured Palestinians were taken to al-Quds Hospital following the strike.

Since the ceasefire in Gaza took effect on October 11, 2025, around 1,313 Palestinians have been killed and more than 4,361 injured, while the bodies of 815 Palestinians have been recovered from under the rubble, according to Palestinian medical sources.

Since the start of Israel's military offensive on Gaza in October 2023, 73,449 Palestinians have been killed and 174,472 injured, with around 90% of civilian infrastructure destroyed. The United Nations has estimated reconstruction costs at approximately $70 billion.
