NABLUS, August 29, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists besieged on Saturday a number of Palestinian men in the town of Qusra, south of Nablus.
Local sources reported that dozens of colonists, backed by occupation forces, attacked a house in the Ras al-Ain area of Qusra and surrounded those inside, prompting local residents to confront them and triggering clashes.
The sources added that several young men remained trapped inside the house, while Israeli army reinforcements arrived and colonists deployed heavily across the area, setting fire to Palestinian-owned lands.
Three Palestinian homes in Ras al-Ain have remained under colonist siege for the 21st consecutive day, while the Israeli army has declared the area a closed military zone.
