TULKARM, May 31, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained six Palestinians during predawn raids on Sunday in the northern occupied West Bank, including three former prisoners.
Local sources reported that Israeli forces stormed several homes in the town of Ellar, north of Tulkarm, searching and ransacking properties before detaining Ahmad Rafiq Hussein, 39, Khaled Mowafaq Asrawi, 24, and former prisoners Asaad Ziad Shadeed, 36, and Obadah Murad Shadeed, 35.
The sources added that Israeli forces also detained former prisoner Louay Sati al-Ashqar, 50, after raiding his home in the nearby town of Seida.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces detained a young Palestinian man from the town of Meithalun, south of Jenin.
Local sources said that Ayman Dawood Rabay'a was detained after Israeli soldiers raided and searched his home, causing damage to its contents.
The forces also stormed and searched several other homes in the town, ransacking property during the incursion.
