NABLUS/BETHLEHEM, May 29, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Friday night raided the Askar al-Jadid refugee camp east of Nablus and the Dheisheh refugee camp south of Bethlehem, according to local sources.
Sources said an Israeli force stormed the Askar al-Jadid refugee camp amid live fire and the firing of tear gas canisters. No injuries were reported.
In Bethlehem, local sources told WAFA that the occupation forces stormed the Dheisheh refugee camp, deployed in its center and conducted foot patrols, while firing tear gas canisters and stun grenades.
No home raids or detentions were reported.
