RAMALLAH, May 26, 2026 (WAFA) – The Lebanese Ministry of Health's Emergency Operations Center announced Tuesday evening that the cumulative death toll from the Israeli aggression since March 2nd until May 26th has risen to 3,213 civilians and 9,737 wounded.

Lebanese media reported that an Israeli airstrike on the town of Burj al-Shamali resulted in the killing of 10 people, including children and women, and injured 12 others, in a preliminary count.

The Israeli army issued an urgent evacuation warning Tuesday evening to residents of 47 villages and towns in southern Lebanon, and continued its aerial and artillery bombardment of dozens of villages, while drones flew over Lebanese airspace.
