GAZA, May 24, 2026 (WAFA) – Medical sources warned on Sunday of a dangerous deterioration in the availability of medicines and medical supplies in the Gaza Strip, exacerbating the healthcare crisis and threatening the lives of thousands of patients.
The sources said that 250 kidney failure patients are at risk of losing access to dialysis sessions due to a shortage of Bibag solution, while treatment sessions for eight sick children may also stop because of the lack of necessary medical filters.
They added that the absence of insulin injections is worsening the health conditions of around 11,000 diabetes patients, while 110 hemophilia patients are suffering severely because of shortages of VACTOR treatment in Gaza Strip.
