RAMALLAH, May 24, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces demolished a house in the town of Shuqba west of Ramallah on Sunday, according to local sources.
The sources reported that Israeli forces, accompanied by a military bulldozer, stormed the town and proceeded to demolish the one-storey home of citizen Abdullah Abdul Ghani Thabet.
The house is built on an area of one dunum and includes living rooms, a swimming pool, and a stable for horses. The owner resides in Ramallah city and used the house for weekend stays.
According to the monthly report of the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, Israeli authorities carried out 37 demolitions in April, targeting 78 structures. These included 37 inhabited homes, 34 agricultural structures, and 5 livelihood-related facilities.
The demolitions were concentrated in several governorates, including 29 structures in Jerusalem, 22 in Ramallah and al-Bireh, and 10 in Bethlehem, among others.
