TUBAS, May 24, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces closed a dirt road and destroyed water networks in the Atoof plain east of the town of Tammun in the occupied West Bank province of Tubas on Sunday.

The official responsible for settlement affairs in the Tubas Governorate, Mu'taz Bisharat, said that Israeli forces blocked the road using earth barriers and began destroying water infrastructure in the area.

He added that the region has been witnessing ongoing bulldozing for months carried out by Israeli forces, aimed at constructing a colonial road extending approximately 22 kilometers.
