HEBRON, May 23, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man was injured by live Israeli gunfire on Saturday evening during an Israeli military raid into the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.

Palestinian security and medical sources told WAFA that Israeli forces stormed the town through the road linking it to Al-Arroub refugee camp and opened live fire toward residents.

A 32-year-old Palestinian man was shot in the abdomen and hand during the raid. Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance crews transferred him to hospital, where his condition was described as moderate.
