RAMALLAH, March 11, 2026 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa discussed on Wednesday the latest developments in the Palestinian Territory during a phone call with his Dutch counterpart, Rob Jetten.
The discussion focused in particular on the escalating Israeli measures, rising settler attacks, the risks posed by annexation schemes and policies, and the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip as a result of the continued closure of crossings and the severe shortage of humanitarian and relief supplies.
Prime Minister Mustafa expressed appreciation for the Netherlands’ support to Palestine, both politically and humanitarianly, including the resumption of its funding to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA). He stressed the need to intensify international efforts and increase pressure to end the Israeli financial blockade and release the Palestinian tax revenues that remain withheld by Israel.
Mustafa also congratulated his Dutch counterpart on the formation of the new government, underscoring the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries across various fields.
For his part, the Dutch Prime Minister affirmed his country’s commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation, rejecting unilateral Israeli measures and the escalation of colonists attacks, and reaffirming the central role of UNRWA.
