GAZA, September 11, 2026 (WAFA) — A Palestinian man, Mohammad Shamali, died on Friday from wounds he sustained a day earlier after Israeli forces targeted a group of Palestinians in Gaza City's Al-Daraj neighborhood.

WAFA correspondent reported that another Palestinian was injured by Israeli gunfire after Israeli military vehicles opened fire east of the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.

Earlier on Friday, several Palestinians were injured in Israeli airstrikes targeting the area west of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza. Israeli forces also fired smoke bombs in the Al-Tawam area in northern Gaza, while Israeli artillery shelled areas north of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
