NABLUS, March 9, 2026 (WAFA) — Six Palestinians were injured on Monday in separate attacks by colonists in the towns of Beita, Jamma’in, and ‘Orif, south of Nablus, according to security sources.
Sources told WAFA that colonists attacked residents in Jamma’in, assaulting Moatasem Saleh, beating him and spraying him with pepper gas, leaving him with bruises.
An Israeli guard from the Yitzhar colonial settlement attacked two Palestinians while they were working in a quarry in ‘Orif, beating them and threatening to kill them if they continued working there.
Colonists also assaulted a 61-year-old resident of Beita, beating him and causing him bruises, which necessitated his transfer to hospital for treatment.
Palestine Red Crescent sources said that its ambulance crews transported two injured residents, aged 50 and 65, after they were subjected to severe beatings on Jabal al-‘Arma in the town of Beita. The victims were taken to a hospital to receive medical treatment.
In a separate attack, colonists stormed the town of Majdal Bani Fadil and attempted to close a mosque while worshippers were inside.
