HEBRON, March 3, 2026 (WAFA) – Two Palestinians were injured by Israeli colonists’ live fire today, Tuesday, during attacks carried out by colonists, under the protection of occupation forces, against Palestinian residents in Masafer Yatta and several villages and towns in the Hebron Governorate, according to local sources.
Sources told WAFA that a group of armed colonists attacked Palestinian citizens’ homes in the Hamroush area of Sa’ir town, northeast of Hebron, and fired live bullets at citizens and their homes, shooting and injuring two people.
The occupation forces raided the area to provide protection for the colonists, detained a resident, and assaulted unarmed citizens who confronted the colonists’ attack, during which the colonists attempted to set homes on fire and cause additional property damage.
In a related incident, colonists conducted a provocative tour with their vehicles in Al-Burj village, west of Hebron, driving through multiple streets while displaying occupation flags and chanting slogans offensive to Palestinians.
In Beit Ula town, west of Hebron, colonists carried out a provocative tour in the town’s western areas—lands from which they had seized thousands of dunums along the separation wall—while chasing residents and shepherds.
A group of colonists also stormed the Al-Tayaran neighborhood in Ad-Dhahiriya town, south of Hebron, provocatively roaming among citizens’ homes while chanting slogans calling for the killing and expulsion of Palestinians and the seizure of their lands and property.
Colonists also continued their attacks on Jinba village in Masafer Yatta, chasing shepherds, while Israeli forces fired sound grenades to protect the colonists.
Communities, villages, and hamlets in Masafer Yatta, along with several villages and towns in the Hebron Governorate, are facing ongoing and simultaneous attacks by colonists and Israeli forces targeting residents and their property. These assaults aim to force Palestinians off their lands through threats, violence, and detention, while expanding control over additional lands for colonial settlement expansion.
