HEBRON, January 24, 2026 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians were injured on Saturday in attacks carried out by Israeli colonist militias while working on their land and caring for livestock in various areas of the Hebron governorate, south of the occupied West Bank.

WAFA correspondent reported that colonists attacked residents in the Khallet al-Natsh area east of Hebron city, as well as in Wadi Sa'ir in the town of Sa'ir northeast of Hebron, and in Marah Abu Asida west of the town of Beit Ula, located northwest of Hebron.

In Khallet al-Natsh, colonists attacked Palestinians while they were farming and tending their animals, causing several injuries, including one man who was hit in the head by a stone and was taken to hospital with a moderate injury.

Colonists also attacked homes in Wadi Sa'ir and blocked the main road leading to the town, disrupting movement, though no injuries were reported.

Beit Ula Mayor Atiyah al-Adam told WAFA that armed colonists, under the protection of Israeli soldiers, attacked residents in Marah Abu Asida area, which is close to the Israeli segregation wall. When residents confronted the attack, Israeli forces fired tear gas, causing cases of suffocation.

Violence by Israeli colonists in the occupied West Bank has increased in recent years, with frequent attacks on Palestinian farmers, shepherds, and communities.

Colonists, backed by the Israeli government, often target agricultural land, olive groves, and livestock, and incidents are frequently reported near the segregation wall and in areas close to Israeli settlements.
