Israeli occupation forces continue military offensive in Tubas for third consecutive day

TUBAS, November 28, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces are continuing their military offensive in Tubas governorate, north of the occupied West Bank, for the third consecutive day, imposing a curfew and deploying heavily across most areas of the governorate.

According to WAFA correspondent, Israeli forces raided Al-Far’a refugee camp in the province at dawn after maintaining a presence around the area over the past two days. Troops stormed and searched numerous homes and deployed large numbers of infantry units throughout the camp.

The correspondent added that Israeli forces withdrew from the town of Tammoun, leaving behind extensive destruction to infrastructure and private property. At the same time, incursions in the city of Tubas and the nearby towns of Aqqaba and Tayasir remain ongoing, with several homes being used as military posts.

Kamal Bani Odeh, director of the Palestinian Prisoners Society in Tubas, said Israeli forces detained 162 residents over the past two days and transferred them to field interrogation centers set up inside homes used as military posts.

He stated that most of those detained were later released in batches, while a number were taken to hospital due to mistreatment and being forced to remain outdoors for two days in extremely cold weather, resulting in deteriorating health conditions.

He confirmed that Israeli forces assaulted many residents and abused them during home raids, in addition to destroying household contents.

Director of Ambulance and Emergency Services in Tubas, Nidal Odeh, said Red Crescent crews have dealt with more than 70 injuries since the start of the assault, caused by beatings carried out by Israeli soldiers. Most cases were treated on site, while some were transferred to hospital.

Meantime, Israeli forces continue to block the main entrances to the governorate with earth mounds, and have also closed several secondary roads. The governorate has also witnessed intensive drone activity and intermittent helicopter flights, along with random gunfire.
