NABLUS, September 5, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man was killed on Friday night after being shot by Israeli occupation forces near the Al-Murabba’a military checkpoint southwest of Nablus.

The Ministry of Health stated that the Palestinian Civil Affairs Authority notified it of the killing of Ahmed Abdel Fattah Shahadeh, 57, from the town of Urif in Nablus Governorate, who was shot by Israeli forces near the checkpoint.

Earlier this evening, Israeli occupation soldiers opened fire on the young man near the Al-Murabba’a military checkpoint.

Ahmed Ameed, director of the Red Crescent Ambulance and Emergency Center in Nablus, reported that ambulance teams responded after receiving reports of gunfire near the checkpoint. However, soldiers stationed there prevented the teams from reaching the injured youth.
