JERUSALEM, November 8, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities on Sunday morning issued demolition and stop-work notices targeting four residential and agricultural structures in the Bedouin community of Abu al-Nuwar, near the town of al-Eizariya, southeast of occupied Jerusalem.
The Palestinian-run Jerusalem Governorate said the measures came just days after Israeli authorities notified residents of plans to close the only road leading to Abu al-Nuwar, as well as the nearby al-Wadi al-A'raj and al-Muntar areas.
The governorate said the successive measures form part of a policy of restrictions and siege aimed at pressuring local Palestinians to leave their lands, amid continued Israeli military incursions into the area.
