GAZA, January 12, 2025 (WAFA) – Several civilians were injured this evening following an airstrike by Israeli warplanes targeting a residential home in the Al-Shuja’iya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
According to local sources, the assault caused significant damage to the area and left multiple residents wounded, with emergency teams rushing to provide aid amid the destruction.
Simultaneously, the Israeli military demolished residential buildings in the Al-Nazla area of Jabalia, in the northern Gaza Strip.
The attacks coincided with three consecutive airstrikes on Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, resulting in the injury of a child.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 46,565 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 109,660 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
