TUBAS, January 11, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces tightened their military measures today at the Tayasir checkpoint, located east of Tubas in the West Bank, resulting in a traffic congestion and delays for Palestinian commuters.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces obstructed the movement of Palestinian vehicles passing through the checkpoint, creating a traffic jam that extended for hundreds of meters.

The Tayasir checkpoint, which connects the cities of the northern West Bank with the Jordan Valley and is a key access point to the area, has witnessed increasing restrictions and vehicle searches in recent months, significantly disrupting the movement of Palestinians and exacerbating the difficulties faced by residents in the region.
