JENIN, January 10, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces, disguised in civilian clothing, surrounded a house in Qabatiya, south of Jenin, on Friday morning and bombarded it with shells, according to local sources.
Witnesses reported that the Israeli special forces infiltrated the town and besieged a home in the eastern outskirts of Qabatiya. Shortly after, additional military reinforcements, including a bulldozer, arrived at the scene.
Israeli forces reportedly fired anti-tank grenades at the house and imposed a closure on all entrances to the town. The raid occurred amid intense aerial activity by Israeli aircraft flying overhead.
Additionally, the forces conducted house raids, detaining several young men after searching their homes and vandalizing their belongings.
The situation remains tense, with the area under heavy military presence. Further developments are expected.
