JERUSALEM, January 5, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces issued on Monday notices of the demolition of a number of homes and facilities in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and stormed Al-Issawiya neighborhood, northeast of Jerusalem.
Local sources said that the occupation forces, accompanied by crews from the occupation municipality in Jerusalem, stormed Ein Al-Lawza neighborhood in Silwan and notified the demolition of a number of homes and facilities, while imposing fines on the vehicles of residents in Al-Issawiya.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the occupation authorities carried out a total of 684 demolition operations for 903 facilities in the West Bank, including the city of Jerusalem, during 2024, and issued 936 demolition notices for Palestinian facilities.
