Gaza, January 5, 2025 (WAFA) – Nine civilians were killed and several others were injured on Sunday in Israeli airstrikes and shelling across northern and central Gaza.

Local sources reported that four people were killed and others were wounded in an Israeli shelling that targeted a group of civilians in the Jabalia area in the northern Strip.

Several civilians were also injured in Israeli quadcopter drone attacks in the Saftawi area, as well as on Jala’a Street northwest of Gaza City.

Israeli artillery also shelled the southern parts of the al-Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza City.

Furthermore, Israeli warplanes struck a home belonging to the Abu Jarbou family in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, killing five civilians and injuring several others.

In addition, Israeli artillery targeted the vicinity of Al-Mufti land and a residential building near the camp’s entrance.

Israeli warplanes also bombed a house belonging to the Abu Amra family in Deir al-Balah, in the central Strip.
