GAZA, January 3, 2025 (WAFA) — Six Palestinians, including three children, were killed today in a series of airstrikes conducted by Israeli warplanes on the Gaza Strip.
According to local reports, the Israeli fighter jets targeted the area around Al-Sham'a Mosque in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, with missiles. This attack resulted in the murder of three children and left several other civilians injured.
In another strike, an Israeli aircraft targeted a group of citizens near Al-Sharq Bakery on Al-Nasser Street in the western part of Gaza City. One individual was killed, and others sustained injuries.
Additionally, two other individuals were killed when an Israeli reconnaissance aircraft struck a civilian vehicle in the Al-Tayyabin area, south of Al-Zawayda in central Gaza.
Medical sources reported that at least 42 people have been killed since the early hours of today, following a series of Israeli airstrikes on various areas across the Gaza Strip.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 45,581 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 108,438 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
