AL-BIREH, January 3, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian young man was injured today by live fire from Israeli occupation forces in the Jabal Al-Taweel area of Al-Bireh city, in the central West Bank.
According to local sources, Israeli forces opened fire on the young man, wounding him before detaining him at the scene.
Later, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its medical teams treated the young man for a gunshot wound to the leg in Jabal Al-Taweel. The injured individual was subsequently transferred to a hospital for further medical care.
Since early this morning, Israeli forces have stormed the Jabal Al-Taweel and Sateh Marhaba areas of Al-Bireh. No reports of detentions have been reported thus far.
