GAZA, January 2, 2025 (WAFA) – Four civilians were killed and several others were injured on Thursday evening in Israeli airstrikes that targeted a house south of Gaza City.
WAFA correspondent reported that the bodies of four civilians were brought to the Arab National Hospital following Israeli airstrikes that struck the home of the Habib family on Al-Maghribi Street in the Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.
He added that the Israeli military also struck the Abu Aida intersection in the same neighborhood and shelled a glass factory near the entrance to the northern Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.
Journalist Hassan Al-Qayshawi was also killed in an Israeli drone strike targeting areas west of Gaza City.
Medical sources stated that the number of Palestinian civilians killed by Israeli airstrikes and bombardments since dawn today has risen to 74, with 40 killed in the northern Strip and 32 in the central and southern Strip.
