Two Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrike on Rafah; three more killed in Gaza City

GAZA, December 29, 2024 (WAFA) – Two Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike early Sunday morning in the northern area of Rafah, southern Gaza. The victims, a man and his wife, were killed when their home in the Kaf Miraj area was bombed by Israeli forces. Several others were injured in the attack.

Earlier, on Saturday evening, three more Palestinians were killed and several others injured, including women and children, in an Israeli airstrike on a house in northwestern Gaza City.

The airstrike targeted a home on Al-Nafaq Street, resulting in the murder of three individuals. The injured were rushed to the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City for treatment. Local sources confirmed that the house targeted in the airstrike belonged to the Khdeir family.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 45,484 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 108,090 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
