GAZA, December 28, 2024 (WAFA) – Six Palestinians were killed, including a young girl, and several others injured today in separate Israeli airstrikes that targeted a group of citizens west of Gaza City and a home in the town of Beit Lahiya.
In Beit Lahiya, located in the northern Gaza Strip, four Palestinians, including a young girl, were killed when an Israeli airstrike targeted a home in the area. Several others were wounded in the attack.
Meanwhile, in Gaza City, two more Palestinians were killed and others were injured when Israeli occupation forces launched a strike at a group of citizens near the Al-Ayoun Junction in the Al-Nasr neighborhood, located in the western part of the city.
In Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip, a Palestinian man was killed by Israeli gunfire in the Al-Mawasi area to the west of the city.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 45,484 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 108,090 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
