Four civilians killed and others injured in Israeli airstrikes northeast of Rafah

GAZA, December, 20, 2024 (WAFA) – Four civilians were killed and others were injured on Saturday, in the Israeli occupation's bombing of Khirbet al-Adas, northeast of Rafah city, and the vicinity of the Martyr Kamal Adwan Hospital, north of the Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that an occupation drone targeted the Khirbet al-Adas area, northeast of Gaza, which led to the killing of two citizens and the injury of others.

Meanwhile, others were also injured when an Israeli drone fired shells towards the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

They added that other citizens were killed and others were injured in an occupation raid that targeted the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the town of Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.

In the same context, medical sources said that the occupation forces continue to target Kamal Adwan Hospital, as yesterday shells fell on the third floor and at the hospital doors, and no injuries occurred. However, it caused panic and fear among the wounded, injured, and children.

The sources indicated that the situation in the hospital is still critical, in light of the severe shortage of supplies, equipment, medicines and painkillers, and food is very scarce, and the medical teams have not been able to provide meals for the wounded in the hospital.

The sources pointed out that about nine cases requiring urgent surgical intervention have been evacuated to Gaza City, while there are currently more than 72 wounded in the hospital, while the occupation has not agreed to allow the entry of all the required medical supplies.

The medical teams and nurses were prevented from entering, while the World Health Organization was able to send only a small number of blood units - about seventy units - despite the need for two hundred units.

They called on the international community to facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid quickly, including medical supplies, surgical tools and medical delegations, in addition to allowing the entry of food.
