GAZA, December 8, 2024 (WAFA) – Two Palestinians were killed and several others injured late last night after an Israeli airstrike targeted a tent sheltering displaced people in Khan Younis, southern Gaza.

Medical sources confirmed that at least two individuals lost their lives, and others were injured when Israeli warplanes bombed the tent located in the Namsawi neighborhood of Khan Younis. The tent had been providing shelter to those displaced by the ongoing conflict.

Additionally, Israeli warplanes carried out further strikes on the al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, though no immediate reports of casualties were available from that location.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 44,664 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 105,976 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
