RAMALLAH, November 29, 2024 (WAFA) – The Palestinians held in Israeli custody along with the Gazans detainees held in Israeli military camps face another form of genocide, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

The PPS said that Palestinians already held in Israeli prisons and detention centres and inmates from the Gaza Strip placed in shadowy interrogation facilities were subjected to another form of Israeli genocide, given the unprecedented systematic crimes perpetrated against them since the onset of the genocidal aggression on Gaza on October 7, 2023.

Such crimes include torture, starvation, sexual assaults and abuse, which resulted in the killing of at least 45 prisoners and detainees since the onset of the Gaza genocidal aggression.

The PPS pointed out that since the onset of the Gaza genocidal aggression, the Israeli occupation forces detained over 11,800 Palestinians from the West Bank, including Jerusalem.

It added that the occupation forces have rounded up more than 435 Palestinian women since October 7, 2023, including women detained from the 1948 Territories and Gazan women detained from the West Bank. This number does not include women detained from the Gaza Strip, estimated to be in the dozens.

The PPS added that among the detainees were at least 775 minors from the West Bank, while pointing out that 136 medical personnel were detained since the onset of the Gaza genocidal war, including 59 medical personnel who remain in detention. As part of the 59 in detention, there are 6 female journalists and at least 32 media personnel from the Gaza Strip.

It said that the occupation authorities have issued over 10,000 administrative detention orders since the beginning of the genocidal aggression, including administrative detention orders issued against minors and women.
