GAZA, November 24, 2024 (WAFA) – At least three Palestinians were killed and several others were injured this morning in a series of Israeli airstrikes that targeted various areas in the Gaza Strip, including the central and southern regions.
According to medical sources, two people were killed and others wounded in an Israeli airstrike on a tent sheltering displaced families in the Nuseirat refugee camp, located in the central Gaza Strip. The strike caused widespread damage to the makeshift shelter, which was housing displaced individuals fleeing the ongoing bombardment in other parts of Gaza.
In a separate incident, one Palestinian was killed and another injured when Israeli forces targeted a gathering of civilians in the area of Kherbet al-Adas, near Al-Aqad School in northern Rafah, southern Gaza. The attack struck a crowded area, causing further devastation as families in the region continue to seek safety from the relentless Israeli airstrikes.
Additionally, Israeli artillery shelling on the northern town of Jabalia resulted in several injuries among displaced individuals.
The ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 44,176 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 104,473 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attack continues unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
