GAZA, November 22, 2024 (WAFA) – At least 25 civilians have been killed and dozens of others have been injured since dawn on Friday in Israeli strikes targeting different areas in the war-torn Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that the bodies of two civilians were recovered in the Khirbet al-Adas area, north of the Rafah city in the southern Strip.
A civilian also succumbed to critical wounds he sustained yesterday in an Israeli bombing that targeted a tent sheltering displaced people in the al-Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis in the south.
Sources further confirmed the killing of two civilians in the Saftawi neighborhood in northern Gaza, after they were targeted by Israeli forces while trying to reach their homes.
Several civilians were also injured after being targeted by an Israeli drone in the town of Jabalia al-Nazla in the north.
According to sources, at least eight civilians were killed and several others were injured in an Israeli air raid targeting the house of the Abu Asmar family in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City.
Three other civilians were killed in an Israeli shelling of the al-Naser neighborhood in Gaza City.
Sources reported that a woman and her child were killed and the father was seriously wounded in an Israeli raid targeting a tent sheltering displaced people in the Mawasi Al-Qarara area, west of Khan Yunis.
Two more civilians were killed and several others were wounded in an Israeli air strike that targeted the house of the Abu Samra family west of the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Strip.
The occupation’s ongoing aggression by land, sea, and air on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in the killing of 44,056 people and the injury of 104,268 others.
Thousands of victims remain missing; either buried under the rubble or scattered on the roads, as rescue teams face tremendous difficulties in reaching them due to the continued Israeli attacks and the massive amount of debris.
