GAZA, September 19, 2026 (WAFA) — The death toll from Israel's ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,910, with 174,914 Palestinians injured, since October 7, 2023, according to medical sources.

Health authorities reported today that hospitals across Gaza received four fatalities and 17 injured Palestinians over the past 48 hours.

Since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, at least 1,390 Palestinians have been killed and 4,801 injured, while the bodies of 831 Palestinians have been recovered, the sources added.

They noted that 85 fatalities were added to the cumulative death toll after their data were completed and officially verified, following the previous update on September 5, 2026.

Meantime, a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and rescue crews continue to face difficulties reaching them.
