Palestinians suffer from suffocation during confrontations with Israeli forces near Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, Wednesday, August 28, 2024 (WAFA) - A number of Palestinians suffered from suffocation on Wednesday evening during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem.

The director of the Husan Village Council, Rami Hamamra, told WAFA correspondent that the confrontations took place in the areas of the center of the village, the vicinity of the schools and Korom Al-Sharaqa area, during which the occupation forces fired live bullets, sound bombs and toxic tear gas, which led to a number of civilians suffering from suffocation, who were treated in the field.

It is noteworthy that since the morning, the occupation forces forced the owners of commercial stores to close their doors in the areas of Al-Matina, Al-Shorfa and Al-Mashahid along the main street, and prevented the movement of citizens and vehicles.
