BETHLEHEM, Sunday, August 25, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation police Sunday detained a Palestinian mother and her daughter from inside the sit-in tent in the Makhrour area in Beit Jala, west of Bethlehem.

Local sources reported to WAFA correspondent that an occupation police force stormed Makhrour area and detained from inside the solidarity tent set up to denounce the seizure of the Qaysiya family's land, both Michelle Qaysiya, the wife of the landowner Ramzi Qaysiya, and her daughter Elsa.

The same sources added that the occupation police handed Michelle a decision to ban her from her land in Makhrour for 15 days, and kept her daughter in detention.

It is noteworthy that the settlers seized Ramzi Qaysiya's land in the Makhrour area on July 31. Its owners were forced at gunpoint to leave it, despite having documents proving its ownership.
