SALFIT, Sunday, August 25, 2024 (WAFA) – This morning, Israeli occupation forces closed the main northern entrance to the town of Salfit in the occupied West Bank using an iron gate this morning, according to local sources.

Local sources informed WAFA that the so-called security guard of the Ariel colonial settlement obstructed the road leading to the northern entrance of Salfit, preventing vehicles from passing through.

The sources added that the forces later shut the metal gate at the same entrance, forcing residents to use a long and rugged alternative route.

The closure of the main entrance in Salfit has a direct impact on the daily lives of Palestinians and their ability to move freely within their own territories.
