TULKARM, Saturday, August 3, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces dawn Saturday wreaked destruction on Palestinian property and infrastructure in the northern occupied West Bank city of Tulkarm, according to WAFA correspondent.
She said that a convoy of occupation vehicles, supported by four bulldozers, stormed the city from its western direction and deployed along the road, opposite to al-Murabitin Mosque.
The occupation forces bulldozed sections of the road as well as the vicinity of the al-Alimi turnabout, and heavily damaged several houses and shops, while drones flew at a low altitude.
Meanwhile, the occupation forces raided the Qiffin town, north of Tulkarm, and deployed troops in the northern neighborhood while opening live ammunition indiscriminately, hitting the façade of a house.
The troops surrounded a house in the neighbourhood and inspected vehicles parked along the roadside.
In the meantime, a sizable number of army vehicles stormed the Jamma'in town, northwest of Nablus, and sealed off the gate at the town entrance.
The army vehicles also stormed the Sebastia town, northwest of Nablus, with troops deployed in the streets and alleyways of the town.
There was no immediately available information on whether the raids into Qiffin, Jamma'in and Sebastia resulted in casualties or detention cases.
