TRIPOLI, July 15, 2026 (WAFA)** – Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh on Wednesday reaffirmed Tripoli's unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their inalienable legitimate rights.
Libya’s Prime Minister Dbeibeh made his remarks during a meeting with Minister of Industry Arafat Asfour on the sidelines of the 29th General Assembly of the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization (AIDSMO) in Tripoli.
During the meeting, Libyan Prime Minister Dbeibeh underscored the Libyan government's commitment to fostering bilateral cooperation with the State of Palestine across various fields, particularly in the industrial and economic sectors.
Minister of Industry Asfour conveyed President Mahmoud Abbas’ greetings to the Lybian Prime Minister and handed him a letter from Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa, addressing ways to strengthen bilateral relations and expand prospects for joint cooperation, particularly in the industrial and economic fields.
Minister Asfour voiced the State of Palestine's appreciation for Libya's steadfast support for the Palestinian people’s rights and their just cause.
