Two civilians killed in Israeli artillery shelling on Gaza City

GAZA, Saturday, July 6, 2024 (WAFA) – This afternoon, Israeli occupation forces shelled a group of civilians in the Zaitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, resulting in the murder of two individuals.

Local sources reported that Israeli artillery targeted the vicinity of the Salba junction in the al-Zaytoun neighborhood, leading to the murder of two civilians and injuring several others.

The number of civilians killed in the Gaza Strip since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, has risen to 38,098, the majority of whom are children and women. The number of injuries has reached 87,705.

Thousands of victims remain trapped under the rubble and scattered on the streets, as rescue teams face tremendous difficulties in reaching them.
