JENIN, Wednesday, December 20, 2023 (WAFA) – Two Palestinian youths were Wednesday dawn shot during the Israeli occupation forces’ storming of the town of Al-Yamoun, west of Jenin.
Security sources told WAFA that the occupation forces stormed Al-Yamun and raided the homes of local residents Jibril Baqli and Ahmed Najeh Abu Al-Hassan, inspected them and wreaked havoc on them.
Baqli and al-Hassan were not in the house, so the Israeli forces demanded that their families tell them to appear before the Israeli intelligence services in Salem camp and surrender themselves.
Violent confrontations broke out, during which two young men were injured by live bullets, in the feet and back.
The sources added that violent confrontations broke out between young men and the occupation forces at the western entrances to Kafr Dan and Jenin.
The occupation forces stormed the village of Al-Jalama, northeast of Jenin, and launched a massive raid campaign in the town’s neighborhoods after deploying an infantry unit, which led to the outbreak of confrontations.
No casualties or arrests were reported, however.
