RAMALLAH, September 23, 2026 (WAFA) – President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas today received, at the Presidential Headquarters in Ramallah, a delegation from the Bahrain Royal Humanitarian Foundation, which is visiting Palestine on a field and humanitarian tour covering several governorates.

The President welcomed the visiting delegation, commending the sincere fraternal positions of the Kingdom of Bahrain, its King, government, and people, in support of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to freedom and independence.

The President expressed the Palestinian people's appreciation for the Foundation's noble humanitarian and development efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people and strengthen their steadfastness on their land.

The President stressed the importance of such fraternal visits, which reflect the depth of the historic relations and strong ties between the two countries, and commended the development and relief projects implemented by the Foundation across the Palestinian governorates.

For their part, members of the Bahraini delegation conveyed the greetings of the King of Bahrain and the Crown Prince to President Abbas and the Palestinian people, affirming their continued support for the Palestinian people and their commitment to supporting projects that strengthen their steadfastness.

They noted that the visit will include tours of the Palestinian governorates to assess conditions on the ground and provide whatever support possible for these vital projects.
