Repeated airstrikes targeting vicinity of Gaza's only cancer hospital cause heavy damage to large parts of hospital

GAZA, Monday, October 30, 2023 (WAFA) – Israeli airstrikes have been repeatedly targeting the vicinity of the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital in Gaza, which caused heavy damage to large parts of the hospital, according to the director of the hospital, Dr. Subhi Sukeyk.

He stressed that a state of panic has spread among cancer patients and the medical staff as a result of the shelling targeting the only hospital for cancer patients in the Gaza Strip.

He explained that the Israeli occupation was not satisfied with increasing the suffering and pain of cancer patients by depriving them of medicines and from traveling for treatment abroad, and now endangering their lives by targeting the hospital’s surroundings.
