RAMALLAH, Monday, April 17, 2023 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is generally clear and hot to very hot with a rise in temperature approaching 7°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department.

Winds are northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, and sea waves are low.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 17°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 27°C and a low of 16°C are expected. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 35°C and a low of 21°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 19°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Another rise in temperature is expected tomorrow, Tuesday, to become 9°C above the seasonal average.

Similar weather conditions are expected on Wednesday and also on Thursday during the day. However, a significant drop in temperature is expected on Thursday night to become 2°C below the seasonal average, said the PMD.
