GAZA, Monday, February 20, 2023 (WAFA) – A farmer who was working on his land in the northern Gaza Strip today suffocated from tear gas fired by Israeli soldiers and was taken to hospital, reported WAFA correspondent.
He said soldiers stationed along the northern borders of the besieged Gaza Strip fired tear gas at farmers working in their lands north of Beit Lahiya causing one of them to suffer from inhaling the toxic gas.
The man was rushed to hospital with difficulty in breathing, said the correspondent.
Attacking farmers along the Gaza border with Israel with tear gas or even with live bullets is almost a daily occurrence forcing farmers to abandon their lands when the shooting starts.
