HEBRON, Thursday, September 22, 2022 (WAFA) – Three Palestinians were injured by Israeli gunfire this evening, including a disabled person, during confrontations with Israeli occupation forces in the town of Beit Ummar, to the north of Hebron, according to local sources.

Mohammad Awad, a local Palestinian activist, told WAFA that an Israeli army force stormed the neighborhood of Al-Dahr in the town, sparking clashes with residents.

Awad said the soldiers fired live ammunition and rubber-coated rounds at the protesters, injuring Jihad Fayez Salibi, 24, a disabled Palestinian man, with a shot in his foot while he was standing in front of his home. He was moved to hospital for medical treatment.

Another two Palestinians were also injured in their feet, and were treated at the scene by local medics.
