RAMALLAH, Tuesday, May 24, 2022 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces today and last night detained at least 15 Palestinians from various parts of the occupied territories, according to several sources.

They said that Israeli forces detained a Palestinian after breaking into and ransacking his parents’ home in Ras Karkar village, west of Ramallah.

In the Jerusalem district, soldiers detained a 16-year-old teen from Abu Dis town, east of Jerusalem.

In the southern West Bank, military vehicles stormed Harmala village, southeast of Bethlehem city, where the soldiers detained six others, including a 17-year-old teen, and ransacked the houses of their families.

Elsewhere in the southern West Bank, soldiers arrested a former prisoner from Surif town, north of Hebron. The former prisoner’s father is sentenced to life imprisonment in Israel for resisting the occupation.

Soldiers conducted a raid in Dura town, south of Hebron city, and detained one person.

In Jericho district, the sources said a raid of Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, west of the city, resulted in the detention of a teenager.

In the northern West Bank, soldiers forced their way into al-Masaken al-Sha‘biyah neighborhood of Nablus, where they arrested a former prisoner along with his father, uncle and a cousin, before releasing three of them.

On Monday evening, undercover Israeli forces, known as Mista'arvim, sneaked their way into the outskirts of Nablus city and abducted a resident of Jenin refugee camp as he was on his way back home.
